Our District Campsite, Drummers Lodge, is a fantastic asset for us. However it does take a fair amount of upkeep which is primarily done by a core of volunteers.

To support the upkeep of the site, a schedule of work days is planned to be organised. Throughout the year there will be all sorts of things which need to be done from general site clean-up, hedge trimming, painting/decorating, lifting and shifting etc. plus some more specific projects.

We would like to build a bank of volunteers willing to come up on our work days to help. You don’t need to commit to every single work day or have a campsite/maintenance trade, we would welcome absolutely anyone who is willing to get involved.
