Event details and what do I need to know The Coast 2 Coast is approximately a 32 mile challenge walk from one coast of Cornwall to the other. The event is open to all Scout and Guide members aged 10 and over. The Challenge can be completed over one or two days and is a guided walk with written instructions to get outside and enjoy the countryside. We have a tuck shop on route and checkpoints to provide first aid and water.
We encourage you to walk in teams of 4 to 10 people. Teams with members under 12 years old must have an adult walker.
We look forward to welcoming groups old and new to this years events.

Before the event  Please complete the further information online and ensure all parents have completed the details on Evboo – you can link your event on OSM directly to Evboo to minimise your admin. We do not require a printed health form, its up to you as a group if you need a paper copy. Ensuring your young peoples data is correct in Evboo will greatly speed up your time signing in. Don’t forget to pick your food!

Ensure you submit you NAN to your district.

Teams are strongly advised to work up their training schedules such that they are competent in walking and carrying such loads, many walkers drop out simply through lack of stamina and not wearing their boots in.

The campsite is at Pill Farm. If you wish to set up your camping equipment before the walk the campsite will be open from 4.00pm-9.00pm on Friday or at any time from 8.00am on Saturday. On arrival at the campsite please do not pitch any tents/ equipment without first consulting with one of the organising committee as to where you should pitch, your help in this matter is much appreciated.  All vehicles must be parked in the designated car park. For all helpers on site please ensure you sign in at admin and collect your wrist band.  Please do this on arrival, as anyone on site without a wrist band may be asked to leave the site.
